چکیده

where u can be interpreted as the velocity field of an incompressible fluid motion, and p is then the associated pressure, the constant μ is the viscosity coefficient of the fluid. For simplicity, we consider homogenous Dirichlet boundary condition for the velocity, i.e. u|∂Ω = 0 and μ = 1. The conditions for the well posedness is known as inf-sup condition or Ladyzhenskaya-Babuška-Breezi (LBB) condition. Multiplying test function v ∈ H0(Ω) to the momentum equation (1) and q ∈ L(Ω) to the mass equation (2), and applying integration by part for the momentum equation, we obtain the weak formulation of the Stokes equations: Find u ∈ H0(Ω) and a pressure p ∈ L(Ω) such that (∇u,∇v)− (p,div v) = (f ,v), for all v ∈H0(Ω) −(divu, q) = 0 for all q ∈ L(Ω).

Synthesis, optimization and biological evaluation of 99mTc-digoxin as possible cardiac imaging agent.

Heart imaging radiopharmaceuticals could improve the diagnostic value of routine heart scanning for detecting cardiac disorders. The aim of the study was to prepare high radiochemical purity 99mTc-Digoxin in a yield of about 98%. The optimal conditions for labelling were as follows: 100μg of Digoxin, 2μg of SnCl2•2H2O, room temperature (25±1°C), reaction retention time of ...

Stability of the Approximation of a Regular Solution Branch

In this paper we extend the so called inf-sup conditions to non linear problems having regular solution branches. The inf-sup conditions for non linear problems are introduced for instance in Caloz and Rappaz 1994]. Here we present a more general approach to include turning points on a solution branch. Our abstract results are applied to model examples.

Intergenerational equity: sup, inf, lim sup, and lim inf

We study the problem of intergenerational equity for utility streams and a countable set of agents. A numerical social welfare function is invariant to ordinal transformation, satis…es a weak monotonicity condition, and an invariance with respect to concatenation of utility streams if and only if it is either the sup, inf, lim sup, or lim inf.

Space-Time Reduced Basis Methods for Time-Periodic Parametric Differential Equations

We consider space-time methods for time-periodic problems and discuss well-posedness of the variational formulation as well as the use of Reduced Basis Methods (RBM) in a parameterized setting. We propose a possible discretization enforcing periodic boundary conditions in time and provide lower bounds for the space-time inf-sup constant. Rigorous RBM space-time a-posteriori error bounds for sta...
